Hi! I think this is an amazing idea and sounds like an epic ride. I'm looking to get myself a bus with a few friends and travel to meet the people running summer music festivals and work on some of the bigger sustainability issues most festivals face (waste, water, energy, etc). But I would love to hear more about your experience, especially more on the side of a traveling creative collective. How could I connect with any of ya'll? Based in NYC right now!

We all live in Brooklyn now that the bus tour is over, we are going to build a new one with another approach drop me a line here if you want to converse

Hello, "Cool Bus". Do you have a regular drivers license (NY) or do you need to have an endorsement to drive this type of vehicle. Also where exactly is the bus now? Registration: Is it an RV or School Bus ..? How's the mechanical engine set, any major jobs done on it? How many owners. Can you cook on-board. :)

The bus was actually registered as an RV in the state of Florida. Since the vehicle is under 40ft, and was registered as an RV there was no need for any type of commercial endorsement. As for the engine, it is a flat faced school bus and the engine is inboard, and it had previously been serviced by the state of new hampshire for the duration of its’ life. We ran into no technical difficulties, just regularly checked the fluids and took care of her.  It only had had one owner before us, and we have just recently sold it to a happy buyer from NC. Yeah of course you can cook onboard, the whole interior of the bus was wired for standard household electricity, based upon a 2000w honda silent generator and a 2000w inverter.

Hey guys! I just found your blog and I have "some" questions: 1- Where are you from? 2- how did you get the idea of doing this? 3- what do you do apart from this (studing, working)?

Hey! Sorry I just saw this question, We are all from different places, Josh is from florida, Justin - Pennsylvania, Paul- South Carolina, Aviad- Maryland, & Myself (Logan) I grew up in New Jersey, But we all went to school together in St. Augustine Florida. 2. We got the idea when we were running a restaurant in NJ and decided that we needed to take and epic trip and let it never end. So we all decided to make a mobile home, our way! 3. As for studying and work, well, I love design and photography, all of us love surfing (its pretty much the reason we do anything at all) So we can make money and surf is our ultimate goal. We simply just want to enjoy our lives to the fullest extent, after all spontaniety is the key to human happiness, well for us at least.
